ABOUT

Kevin Ginther is a Southern California-based artist whose vivid, meditative compositions are deeply rooted in the rhythms of the ocean, the energy of music, and the legacy of surf and skate culture. Growing up in the South Bay of L.A. County, Kevin spent his early years surfing, skateboarding, and filling sketchbooks with drawings inspired by the coastal lifestyle that shaped him.

His creative journey began with graphite, colored pencil, watercolor, and pen and ink, evolving over time into digital media, and, most recently, expressive acrylic painting. Kevin studied art at Chico State University, later carving a path into the surf industry as a graphic designer, where his passion for art and design continued to deepen.

Today, Kevin’s work draws on the flow of waves and sound, translating movement and emotion into layered, dreamlike pieces. His goal is to create compositions that invite the viewer’s eye to travel, discovering new moments, rhythms, and connections throughout the piece. Each painting is a visual meditation, intended to evoke positive energy, ignite uplifting vibrations, and energize the viewer’s spirit.
